RESUMO: Os estudos envolvendo a investigacao de fenomenos pertencentes a area de interesse tratado pela Psicologia Juridica sao considerados recentes, os quais tem a possibilidade de analise ampla ao que abrange as abordagens inseridas dentro da Psicologia. Nesse contexto o estudo busca realizar uma discussao sobre os efeitos relacionados ao fenomeno da Alienacao Parental e o processo de formacao/desenvolvimento da personalidade a luz da abordagem psicanalitica postulada por Sigmund Freud. Objetiva-se apresentar uma revisao teorica acerca de como a literatura referencia a formacao da personalidade segundo Freud, o contexto da Psicologia Juridica no Brasil, a Alienacao Parental, abordando aspectos conceituais e historicos.
