El presente articulo presenta una propuesta de lectura y de analisis biblico-narrativo del tema de la hospitalidad presente en el Ciclo de Abraham (Gn 18-25). La hipotesis de lectura sostiene que la hospitalidad es un elemento interno de la Alianza que Adonay pacta con Abraham en vistas al respeto, al encuentro, la acogida y el reconocimiento que Israel tiene de otros pueblos vecinos. El paradigma de Abraham y de la hospitalidad que ofrece a Adonay, representado en los tres mensajeros que se acercan a su tienda, nos permite finalmente poder abrir un camino para la vivencia de una sana coexistencia con grupos humanos distintos. Acoger al extranjero se transforma por tanto en una norma etica que rige la vida de la comunidad de Israel y en definitiva de toda sociedad humana. The following article presents a proposal of reading and narrative biblical analysis related to the hospitality seen in the Abraham Cycle (Gen 18-25). The hypothesis of reading upholds that hospitality is an internal element of the Alliance that Adonai agrees with Abraham considering the respect, encounter, reception and recognition that Israel has from other neighboring countries. The paradigm of Abraham and the hospitality that Adonai offers, represented by the three messengers who approach to his tent, allows us to finally open a path to live a healthy coexistence with different human groups. Taking a foreigner in, becomes then an ethical rule, which regulates the life in the community of Israel, and, definitively, of all the human society.
