The research was conducted by a qualitative paradigm and an ethnographicapproach. Results show the formation of educators from differentperspectives, by identifying meeting points that allow a reconstruction ofthe social role of the teacher; also it presents the profile of the educator asa complex process that involves considering two positions: the modernizingperspective that responds to the holistic approach favoring the economicaspect of the Self, and the critical perspective, transforming and humanist,characterized by the multiplicity, diversity and restitution of the value ofthe other. Another result equally emphasizes curriculum that aims to forma researcher teacher, sensitive to the socio-educational problems, critical,creative, innovative and committed to the social change.
