The text presented below addresses the issue of risks, liability and prevention that are born with Occupational Health; Taking into account that after the advent and development of complex industrial processes, progress was made in this area until the postmodern era. In Colombia, in recent decades, labor legislation has been promoted with the National Occupational Health Plan (PNSO) and the Legal Framework of the Management System for Safety and Health at Work (SGSST), which for some The Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS) whose legal act is included in Decree 1072 of 2015 which is a Single Regulatory Decree of the Labor Sector. With it is intended to fill gaps in health and its link to the work, and therefore to the insurance; In addition to exploring the technical standards linked to important international organizations such as Integrated Management Systems, the Management System for Health and Safety at Work, and the family of standards that include ISO 14001 which is expressed in the System Of Environmental Management (SGA).
