O texto toma como porto de partida uma reflexao sobre Analise de Discurso, entendendo-se esta como uma dimensao teorico-metodologica. Expressa uma necessidade de querer compreender essa forma de analise e de poder toma-la como referencia, para um melhor entendimento de certos aspectos do comportamento religioso atual. A atitude exposta aqui e de quem supoe a aplicacao da Analise de Discurso e uma hermeneutica a partir do dom, em um estudo de pesquisa sobre a relacao Religiao e Dinheiro no discurso Teologico de Prosperidade de expressao neopentecostal. Os procedimentos metodologicos aqui sugeridos sao apenas indicativos de que a Analise de Discurso e a teoria da dadiva de Marcel Mauss constituem caminhos para aprofundamento de questoes que vem sendo discutidas pela Sociologia da religiao. Abstract The text takes as port of departure a reflection on Discourse Analysis, understanding this as a theoretical-methodological dimension.
