This research helps to identify possible reasons for recidivism by demobilized ex-combatants in Bogota, through the estimation of a multinomial logit model with figures from the Colombian Agency for Reintegration of Individuals and Armed Groups (ACR for its acronym in Spanish) and based on criminological, economic and sociological theories of crime and recidivism. Observable characteristics in the sample of ex-combatants were exgroup which they belong to, their age, gender, time of demobilization, labor activity, financing plan, and years of schooling, among others. Some results show that if they have work activity, there is less likely to recidivism. Different results have been found in cases in which people have financing plan or belonged to a particular subversive group.
