Abstract:

This article aims to review the rehabilitation programs used for the treatment of patients with mild traumatic brain injury. Programs that allow the rehabilitation of impulsivity, aggression, irritability and anosognosia were reviewed. Scientific articles were searched on 10 databases using the key words: Mild, traumatic, brain, injury, rehabilitation, and the sequelae in particular. The information was analyzed and organized by the program used for the treatment of each sequelae and its results. It is concluded that there are different rehabilitation programs for each of the sequelae of interest, which usually include interdisciplinary groups and several of these allow simultaneous intervention of more than one sequelae. Most programs showed positive results with the exception of two of them, and indicate the impossibility of generalize results due to the use of small sample sizes.
