The article refers to the implementation and evaluation of virtual learning object (VLO) for teaching–learning the concepts of cell and cell reproduction with eighth grade students of Miguel Antonio Caro I.E.D., and ninth graders of Charry I.E.D. The methodological design of qualitative and descriptive approach involved the instrumental model to evaluate different instruments (interviews items scale) the VLO, in the aspects of learning effectiveness, satisfaction and quality of the content of VLO, which determine it a quality teaching tool. Among the results stand favorable trends in innovation, learning strategy, navigability and media, as well as techno-social interaction and use and ownership. But the data in the items evaluated unsatisfactory trend indicates that the VLO should be redesigned or restructure, especially in the components of images and videos, so you can adapt to the characteristics and needs of this population.
