Law 30 of 1992 changed the scenario for Universities, forcing them to expand their coverage, meet quality standards, doing research and open their doors to the world. University should be at the forefront with the developments in the world, contributing to the solution of social problems, and leading standards of intellectual property and patents, because that would help them to know in the world. Changes in the academy are many, and respond to developments that have taken the administrative and management models, which require institutions to provide an education response to the needs of the productive sector. That is why universities have modified their curricula and pedagogical models for prom people with higher skills to work. Research is important, because that reduce the margin of error in a new educational model, so PhD. Luz Stella Restrepo is learning about the applicability of skills training in Facultad de Ingenieria Industrial, Universidad Tecnologica de Pereira. This project is part of research directed by PhD. Restrepo. So, analyze issues such as autonomy and self-reflection in an educational process. It looks these two topics can to help learning faster in the UTP students, because they are came younger to the academic center, but with great academic development in their secondary education. A proposal is the result of the research, and wants to increase both categories in the young people, to improve their learning process.
