The follow up and advisory process on the strategic actions plan at the utilities company Empresa de Servicios Publicos Tribunas Corcega E.S.P., has as its main purpose to plan the activities necessary performed between June 2008 and June 2009 that guaranteed the achievement of the goals established within that document related to the topic of environmental management. At the same time it is the follow up process’ purpose to create a new revised version of the strategic actions plan that will address the necessities of the company for the 2008-2012 period. This process is performed by undergraduate students on a business internship within the company and covers the following activities: regulatory compliance on water quality, optimization of the distribution system, supervising the correct billing of all the service’s subscribers, supervising the appropriate response to customer claims, guaranteeing current billing levels, improve procurement mechanisms, maintaining open and constant communication with surrounding communities, creating and maintaining a customers database for the garbage collection service, ensuring regulatory compliance on solid wastes disposal processes, and finally the elaboration of a revised version of the company Empresa de Servicios Publicos Tribunas Corcega E.S.P. strategic actions plan adjusted to the needs previously identified by the company and the community for the 2008-2012 period.
