This work aims to conduct an analytical tour of the theories developed in the twentieth century around the theme of human talent, its evolution and development in the modern business world. The corpus consisted of one part unveil major theories developed by the experts of management thinking schools that hosted and developed theoretical proposals for better management of human resources, reviewing regulations, wage labor, the functional area and foresight in Latin America. The results of the analysis indicate that human talent in organizations has been strengthened thanks to the positive performance and the depth with which it has been investigated mainly in the late twentieth century and early twenty-first century. We conclude that sciences such as psychology, anthropology, sociology, management, and others have significantly contributed to the development and evolution of this factor of production organizations.
