This article is intended to contribute in discussions specific to from the analysis of histories written cities in Colombia during the nineteenth century, and that would be a kind of urban early history, as represented Carlos Sambricio for another case. These texts have been continuously considered sources and sparsely as writings that contain ideas and past city. To do this, is to identify the place of production of those writing these texts, the motivations to undertake a journey and leave later recorded in his memoirs. To finally approach the structure of the texts in question and some typologies contained therein.
