Existen motivos mas que suficientes para concederle a la educacion una responsabilidad historica: superar la crisis de convivencia y sostenibilidad de la especie. Por ello, se busca iniciar una reflexion sobre lo que serian los propositos de la educacion, especialmente en el ambito universitario, entre los cuales estan: procurar, en y con el individuo, el afianzamiento de un compromiso serio con su formacion desde la autonomia, el desarrollo de habilidades comunicativas que faciliten el consenso, procesos de conocimiento autogestionado y su humanizacion desde su formacion moral. En ultimas, crear un sentido de responsabilidad con la realidad que le permitan mejorar su calidad de vida, investigar y gobernar. Abstract There are enough reasons for granting to education a historical responsibility: to overcome the crisis of contact and sustainability of the species. Because of this, it is intended to initiate a reflection on what the purposes of the education would be, especially in the university environment. Some of the purposes are: to try, in and with the individuals, the consolidation of a serious commitment with their formation from the autonomy, the development of communicative abilities that facilitate the consensus, processes of self administered knowledge and their humanization since their moral formation. The aim is to create a sense of responsibility with the reality that permits them to improve their quality of life, to do research and to govern.
