Introduccion: este proyecto se fundamenta especificamente en el arte popular que la ‘chiva’ ostenta; se retoman y extraen para la investigacion los diferentes simbolos, lineas, imagenes y figuras que complementan todo un concepto de arte identificado con el pueblo. Metodologia: el estudio se desarrolla desde el enfoque cualitativo, por considerar que permite identificar y ordenar de manera adecuada la informacion recolectada durante un periodo de tiempo, donde se almacena suficiente material para complementar el trabajo investigativo. Se emplearon como herramientas: investigacion etnografica, entrevistas, trabajo de campo, analisis fotografico, recopilacion bibliografica, con el fin de recolectar informacion pertinente para demostrar y utilizar un valor iconografico popular y ser transportado a la moda contemporanea. Resultados: caracterizar los elementos simbolicos e iconograficos que representan la tradicional ‘chiva’, con el proposito de obtener inspiracion para la realizacion de una coleccion de bolsos. Abstract Introduction: this project is fundamentally based on the popular art that ‘chivas’ display; The different symbols, lines, images and figures that make up the entire concept of art identified by the population are revised and extracted. Methodology: the study is developed with a qualitative focus, considering that it allows identifying and organizing the information collected during a period of time, in an adequate manner, where enough material is stored in order to complete the investigative work. The tools used were: ethnographic investigation, interviews, field work, photographic analysis, bibliographic compilation, in order to collect pertinent information that will allow to show and use the popular iconographical value and be transported to the contemporary fashion. Results: characterize the symbolic and iconographical elements that represent the traditional ‘chiva’, in order to obtain the inspirational elements to realize a purse collection.
