The purpose of this paper to present an to the problems that the Colombian government manages about sexual violence suffered by the female gender, being used this as a mechanism and a weapon of war against the dignity of not only women but of their families, the impact psychologically, physically and morally in them and their families. As it will be seen in the development of a continuous and permanent work against female violence occurs. Therefore, also it seeks to conceptualize and identify the destructive and degenerative impact involved in any armed conflict in society. This test will be routed to the case Choco 2010-2012, as it deemed to be relevant to the issue of gender existing in the Pacific Region. We will try to provide an explanation of the socio-economic background and geographical. A documentary analysis also presented the problem, because a search of sources, which allowed studying, synthesizing and interpreting it, was held in question. Degree work entitled approach to sexual violence as a weapon of war in the Colombian armed conflict.
