This research is conducted as part of the macro project entitled Teaching Strategies substantiated levels of reasoning visualization and analysis and in the learning stages proposed in the theory of spouses Van Hiele , which strengthen the development of spatial thinking through teaching and learning processes implemented by the students in the tenth semester of degree program in early childhood education in educational institutions of the Department of Risaralda ; investigation based on a methodology of qualitative approach , in which theory is studied Van spouses Ice and aspects of Piaget and Gardner contributing to the development of spatial thinking in children and a number of teaching strategies created to work and develop the construction and characterization of paralelipipedo and levels based visualization and analysis is applied and the learning phases of the Van Hiele theory. Using a first and last tests, carefully designed based on the standards is made, testing knowledge and Van Hiele theory to evaluate the necessary aspects in students realize the background with the initial test and knowledge acquired after implementing teaching strategies in the final test. In addition to these tests, some teaching strategies designed based on the levels of reasoning and learning phases of the theory of Van Hiele and husbands to be created, applied and discussed also apply, help students advance levels of reasoning.
