“Cooperativa de Transportes del Risaralda” is a company dedicated to provide charge mobility service to different companies by turbo trucks with 4.5 - 5 tons capacity, simple with 9.5 - 10 tons capacity, mini mule 19-20 tons capacity, trailer truck 34-35 tons. It has 11 branches located in Buenaventura, Cali, Medellin, Barranquilla, Manizales, Bogota, Cartagena, Chinchina, Buga, Santa Marta, and headquarters in Dosquebradas, with 95 total employees nationwide, 327 drivers, 193 partners and 392 vehicles, and it has been on the market for 46 years providing commitment and excellence. Focusing efforts on developing continuous improvement, there have been changes in the organization, creation and removal of labor charges, processing procedures, modification of the assigned tasks, for which we identified the need for a manual review of each function in order to update them. The technique used is based on staff meetings asking for feedback information, determining the tasks of each worker, assessing carrying loads in each area for the balance between available resources. To complement the study, measurements of methods and time in the work areas are scheduled, contributing to the identification of problems affecting the business development, approximate duration of the functions presented in the periods defined for each area, frequency with which tasks are carried out during the month, and optimization ideas are proposed. With the information collected the analysis is made, plotting the percentage of time each function represents from the total of minutes measured on the basis of the available days of work per month. Finally, the results are shared, recording the comments, suggestions and conclusions, obtaining two deliverables for the company of a landmark study.
