Lineamientos estratégicos para un plan de gestión ambiental integral con la comunidad pesquera localizada entre el tramo puerto alegre en el municipio de Pereira y Puerto Dagua del río Cauca en el municipio de la Virginia, Risaralda
Fishing is an ancestral economic activity in several places around the world, which has generated revenues for producers both older and young people. Nevertheless, over time it has been left behind by the actual development model in the world mostly supporting big industries and massive production, becoming this popular and traditional practice, into a massive extraction model. This document has been developed through a research in which primary and secondary data was collected in La Virginia’s territory, enabling the construction of a diagnosis that integrates the municipality with the Association of Fishermen of Risaralda ASOPESCAR located in the stretch between Puerto Alegre, Pereira and Puerto Dagua, La Virginia Cauca river, in order to develop proposals to undertake the preparation of environmental management guidelines directed to the study area. After diagnosis, the study of the environmental reality was able to be approach from a holistic and integrative perspective, implementing an interdiscipline methodological approach, through a conceptual framework in which the environment, interdiscipline, environmental problematic, environmental problems and management elements were addressed. Additionally, it required the logical framework methodology to identify the problematic to address within the study area and be able to formulate strategic guidelines that can be implemented in the association by the identification of institutions involved in the territory and the Fishermen's Association that generate positive or negative impacts in their production processes. To finally identify sources of funding that may be helpful for such research work proposed in the guidelines.
