Relación entre el uso de TIC y los procesos de enseñanza - aprendizaje de la lengua inglesa en el Instituto de Lenguas Extranjeras ILEX de la Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira
In Colombia the management of a second language has become a priority for public policy of the country because this ability can extend the labor, academic and communication opportunities for young Colombians. In the other hand, the fast technological development increasingly demands more presence in Education, to which is added the need to rethink the relationship between teachers, students and content in order to make a pedagogical use of these technologies that significantly transform the educational practices. The Technological University of Pereira in attempt to equip its graduates with more opportunities for entering in the labor market, has created the Institute of Foreign Languages ( ILEX ) in which it seeks to strengthen their communication skills through the learning of a second language such as the English. Taking into account that digital technologiessuchas the Blog are integrated in this space, we rely on the socio-constructivist approach of the human psychismbyCesar Coll, to design an instrument that allows us to describe and compare the experience of teachers and students of English language in the use of these tools, so we can analyze the relationship between the use of TIC and the formativeprocesses that take place there. This research is qualitative, and to be run we will be applying a non-participant observation, a survey to three groups of students, and a semi - structured and focused interview to three teachers of English language from the ILEX at the UTP. By using these instruments we set out to investigate the relationship between the uses of TICand the processes of teaching and learning the English language that occur in the ILEX at the Technological University of Pereira.
