The study done has the purpose of characterizing the traffic accident rate in the urban zone of the Pereira city, additionally It is trying to establish how much is the traffic accident rate increasing in that zone,this study is focused on small cars (private cars) in the 2007 and in the 2008 years. It is also trying to determine the things that influence internally and externally to get these accidents to happen. Later, Data was collected, This data was previously classified and organized according to the focus of the present study, this data was also analyzed according to the SPSS statistic by which the meaning of each variable was determined and according to these results, a More detieled selection was done. Additionally the variables were crossed to determine which of them interact with a higher frequency in the selected traffic accidents. This way a more accurate and trusty analysis can be done also the interpretation of the results can be clearer and more practical. Aditionally, some proofs will be done by using the collected data for each one of the included variables in this model, the purpose is to determine the probability of a specific accident happening.
