Colombia es un pais con un gran potencial turistico debido a su riqueza natural. En los ultimos anos se han venido realizando iniciativas para lograr destinos turisticos sostenibles; en ese marco, se han desarrollado las Normas Tecnicas Sectoriales de Turismo Sostenible o NTS TS, que estan enfocadas en la construccion de sistemas para la sostenibilidad que serviran para gestionar estos lugares. Dentro de las normas tecnicas, se encuentran dos que estan enfocadas en los destinos de playa y de interior. El presente articulo muestra dos elementos fundamentales para la implementacion de las normas tecnicas en los destinos tanto de playa como de interior, que son la educacion ambiental y el ordenamiento territorial. Abstract Colombia is a country with great tourism potential thanks to its natural wealth. In recent years it has been doing efforts to achieve sustainable tourism destinations, in this framework, Technical Standards for Sustainable Tourism or TS ST have been developed, which are focused on building systems for sustainability that will serve to manage these places. Within the technical standards, there are two of them that are focused on the beach and inland destinations. This article shows two fundamental elements that are focused on the implementation of technical standards in locations both inland and beach, they are environmental education and zoning.
