Proyeccion social, investigacion y docencia constituyen tres pilares fundamentales de la formacion universitaria. En la asignatura Desarrollo Humano I, los estudiantes desarrollan competencias relacionadas con la investigacion, a partir de la actividad practica que ofrece un espacio propicio para la investigacion. De manera concreta, los estudiantes transfieren a un contexto real los conocimientos adquiridos en el aula a partir de las evaluaciones diagnosticas de ninos que se encuentran en la etapa de desarrollo denominada infancia temprana (3 a 7 anos). Tomando en cuenta esas evaluaciones, se llevo a cabo un proceso de sistematizacion considerando las historias clinicas de 440 ninos que fueron evaluados en los centros educativos con los cuales la Universidad Simon Bolivar ha establecido convenio desde el segundo semestre del ano 2003 hasta el segundo semestre del ano 2006. Abstract Social projection, research and teaching constitute three fundamental pillars of the higher education formation. In the subject Human Development I, the students develop competences related to research, from the practical activity that offers a propitious space for investigation. At the same time, the knowledge acquired in the classroom from the evaluations diagnose of children in the development stage denominated early childhood (3 – 7 years old) is transferred to a real context. Regarding these evaluations, a systematization process was carried out considering the clinical histories of 440 children evaluated in the educative centers with which the Universidad Simon Bolivar has established agreements from second semester 2003 to second semester 2006.
