The research addresses the educational practices that demonstrate the teaching of Afro-Colombian cross-cultural contexts in the work of ethno- classroom teachers in educational institutions in the city of Pereira assuming the idea that an educational practice that intentional action is tied to system used to educate. Research in their analysis concluded that Pereira has been developing the school system to implement a pedagogical discourse, although weak, gradually incorporating the knowledge of Afro-Colombian culture to the school world, not only in the curriculum of traditional subjects but, -and this is the most important-, in the same everyday social relations which provide the students inside the school.
