Estudio de métodos y tiempos para el mejoramiento de los procedimientos del Centro de Distribución Nacional (CEDINAL) - unidad ambulatoria, en Audifarma S.A.
It identifies the factors affecting the process within the national distribution center of Audifarma SA (CEDINAL), which have led to wastage of time and energy of the staff members. For this, we performed an observation in the procedures Receipt of medicines, picking and checking, consolidation, Shipping, Random Counts and reverse logistics, to analyze the staff members, the operation, materials, machinery and job conditions, not forgetting keep in mind the requirements and quality design in each procedure. All this, supported by the time and motion study based on the activities and business needs in order to standardize each procedure, better manage resources and to quantify the possible improvements proposed in accordance with the results. The contribution is aimed at solving the problems identified in the methods of work, unnecessary and unproductive movements; critical points of the operation and wasted materials, exploiting the advantages that the company has its own technological developments to simplify and facilitate the activities involved the flow of information. With the information obtained is set out to improve the process making optimal and efficient. We present the project as an option that allows the company an opportunity to reduce costs, improve its ability to be appropriate to the needs of the growing demand, efficient information flow between processes and its clients, so to continue contributing to keeping Audifarma SA as a leader in the provision and supply of quality medicines and supplies in the country.
