This paper is about the soundscape of three different environments of the city in Pereira, the Botanical Garden of the Technological University of Pereira Matecana International Airport (AIM), and La Plaza de Bolivar, generated (produced) from digital media and software solutions. This research is based on methodologies of type quantitative and qualitative, to identify the intensity of the Sonic Pressure Levels (SPL) and popular perception, as a strategy to address the environmental problems that translates current noise pollution. The soundscape of the three environments were developed under the research parameters the caller considered necessary, highlighting the methodological advances that audiovisual arts have provided, the ability to harmonic analysis in the communication of some species has given the bioacoustic study and social research through sound ethnographic techniques; so as a means of appropriation of our non-monetary riches of our cultural heritage, and a conscious means of protecting biodiversity and our local identity is presented. This ultimately is used as inescapable theoretical and practical elements for the production of soundscapes as a strategy for environmental education, with possible application in people of all ages and rank social. The results can be read and heard from the web, finally analysis through software and open source Audacity® and editing of sound samples by iZotope RW3 software, can generate a comparison on these results getting better connection environment of the sound comfort studied and its importance in social development.
