Este proyecto describio las concepciones que los estudiantes del grado septimo de la Institucion Educativa Santo Tomas de Aquino del municipio de Guarne tenian con respecto al aprendizaje del ingles por medio del uso de las tecnologias de la informacion y la comunicacion -TIC-, de igual modo se presento una propuesta basada en el uso de la plataforma Moodle para que los educandos afianzaran sus conocimientos y mejoraran el desarrollo de las cuatro habilidades de este idioma, (escucha, habla, lectura y escritura). Tambien se analizaron los resultados obtenidos mediante la tecnica de la encuesta, donde se hallaron resultados que demostraron que los educandos en su mayoria comprendian la importancia que tiene en la actualidad el aprendizaje de este idioma y la necesidad de aplicar una didactica apoyada en TIC. Abstract This project described the conceptions that the students of seventh grade from Santo Tomas de Aquino School based in the municipality of Guarne had about learning English through the use of information and communication technologies -ICT-, In the same way, it is a proposal based on the use of the Moodle platform for learners, in order to secure their knowledge and improved their development in the four skills of the language learning process (listening, speaking, reading, writing). Also, the results obtained by the survey technique, showed that most of the students understood the importance that currently has the learning language and the need for a teaching supported by ICT.
