A new methodology for the evaluation of voltage sags and a decrease of the insufficiency found in some classification methodologies on literature are presented. To achieve this, the phasorial method is applied from the literature, and a new methodology suggested on a real register data base from measurements campaigns on the power supply in Spain. The insufficiencies and the advantages are contrasted. The new proposed method will be useful on applications such as getting indexes.
