This Mediated Pedagogical Project aims to strengthen the processes of active reception of television from the students of 11 grade College Lorencita Villegas de Santos from Santa Rosa de Cabal, since the implementation and analysis of some interviews, focus groups and projective techniques developed over 5 sessions. For the analysis mentioned above, we had some theorical contributions of different authors, as Valerio Fuenzalida, Omar Rincon, Guillermo Orozco and Jesus Martin Barbero. Methodologically the proposed Guillermo Orozco takes on the establishment of TV observatories, which focuses on youth work and television fiction; active TV reception is mainly addressed from the proposed Valerio Fuenzalida, in which the basis is the influence of the contexts and all that is associated with the overall reception of television content; with respect to the focus of Colombian television, we take elements from Omar Rincon, with reviews and features used to write and document not only television content, but also to the spectators; finally, we rely on Jesus Martin Barbero best to break down what concerns the cultural and social developments that are formed from the receipt of the screen contents. This work is performed under the perspective of the qualitative approach; the techniques of data collection were: interviews from the solution of questionnaries designed from some open and closed questions; the focus groups served as a point of analysis and reflection about proposed at each session and, projective techniques, as an option to collect some items that individually characterize readings easily that every student has from herself, from basic tools that allow us to get some results without necessarily deepen the psychological field; the phases of analysis used are those that Jakobson proposed from the 3 levels of the language: the grammatical, semantic and pragmatic level.
