In this study we evaluated the anthropometric findings, the physical activity and the degree of consumption of a group of overweight male children 5-10 years of age of a district educational institution in Bogota. Twenty-eight children were evaluated anthropometrically with the use of the following indicators: BMI, Height/age, lean body mass and fat mass reserves, waist circumference and percentage of corporal fat.
