Monitoreo del comportamiento de la calidad en la Consulta de Soporte Nutricional Oncológico en el Centro Javeriano de Oncología CJO- en el periodo comprendido entre enero de 2013 y junio de 2014
To the oncologist xaverian center CJO-, it´s important the implementation of a quality indicators system, having on mind the increase in the demand of services like the appointments of oncologist nutritional support. By a descriptive study we study and anylise the quality in the oncologic nutritional support appointments in the CJO- for the patients that attended between January of 2013 and June of 2014, through a series of indicators, in what we appreciate: the opportunity in access to the appointment, barriers and facilitators on the access, adherence to the treatment, patient security and global satisfaction. The opportunity of appointment was 28 days average, inside the maximum stablished time, despite that in some months exceeds it in an important way. On the determination of barriers we found that: the 7% of the patients have taken legal steps and it was a deny and delay with the delivery of nutritional supplements to the 13 % of patients with requirement. The diversification in the schedules for the appointments is a facilitator on the attention, the 93% of patients said. By the time the consult was considered by the totality of the patients as necessary for their treatment. In all that about the adherence to the treatment, the 41% of patients had a lower level of adherence. The 79% of attended patients in 2013 had a medium level of adherence, attended maximum to two controls. The patients with 3 or more controls were considered with a higher level of adherence. For the indicator of security for the patients, we found that specialties like radiotherapy and surgical specialties, there are not apt replies to the oncologist nutritional support.
