Caracterización Petrográfica y Mineralógica de los Suelos de un sector al SW de Ciudad Bolívar, en Bogotá, aplicada a la Geología Forense Mineralogy and Petrography Characterization of Soils in SW from Ciudad Bolívar, in Bogota, Applied to Forensic Geology
Fifty samples the SW of the City of Bogota, D. C. and the south of the Municipality of Soacha were petrography and mineralogical characterized. It was elaborated by geologic cartography, samples of rocks and soils were gathered in a previously designed net, those were carried out to elementary chemical analysis by spectrography, the process of floor’s preparation of samples was standardized for the mineralogical analysis and the rocks were studied macro and microscopically. In order to all the above-mentioned, the geologic formations were related with the distribution of minerals and elements of the soils in the area, and that allows to settle parameters to make a good use for the Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences to advance their investigations in the judicial cases that be required.
