Object: To determine whether the recreational-sports venues, the judges of Juan Mine, are considered by the inhabitants as a place for physical activity during leisure time. Methodology: This is a descriptive study. Simple random probability sampling without replacement, which took into account the response of 267 people surveyed, with a percentage of loss of 5%, a confidence level of 95% and a power of 80% was made. 410 instruments of which only 300 were usable were applied, so we proceeded to increase the number of the sample to avoid bias. Results: 95% of the population known recreational-sports venues; 53.7% do not use; 63% do not use them because they do not like, 14% because of security; 10.7% use them to walk and 11.3% for the sport. Conclusions: Physical activity has become a protective factor for health, the practice carries with basic needs such as availability of urban spaces for it. It is the responsibility of governments to ensure compliance with the conditions.
