Objective To solve the problem of low-speed registration of Hospital Information System.Methods The specialized reading device and the 2nd software development package provided by firm scanned personal information from 2nd-generation ID Card were used,then the individual information was filled in to finish registration.Results Using machine device to scan the patients' basic information from chip in 2nd-generation ID card was accurate,efficient,rapid and convenient than before.Conclusion The problem of low speed and wrong information in the old registration system is solved.It has the positive meaning to avoid Three long and One short in outpatient department.
