This paper focuses on the results of a research which aims to identify the concept of the social, pedagogical, cognitive model and its use in an education context in Institucion Educativa Normal Superior de Sincelejo (Sucre, Colombia) held by teachers and students. A qualitative research methodology, four instruments: two semistructured and two structured interviews with teachers and students were conducted for this work. In the other hand, non participant observation was used to identify teachers speech and chores as well. It was concluded then that the pedagogical action is not responding to the pedagogical social model, and its educational practice is influenced by the training.
