Las actividades antropogenicas causan una serie de impactos en el Ambiente y la actividad agricola no es la excepcion, el constante uso del suelo hace que este se erosione y pierda nutrientes asi como tambien contamina el recurso hidrico afectando a diferentes especies. Sin embargo en muchos casos no se llega a determinar un valor aproximado de los costos que se generan a causa de la depredacion de los ecosistemas y el efecto monetario que se genera en distintas propiedades que se ven afectadas. Para esta investigacion se hara uso de la funcion de demanda de bienes inmuebles a traves de la metodologia de valoracion por precios hedonicos que determinara la influencia de los atributos ambientales sobre el beneficio dado en produccion en los hogares. Se resalta la necesidad de incluir tecnicas de analisis econometrico espacial, siendo estas mas apropiadas al tipo de investigacion debido a que pueden interpretar variables tanto economicas como espaciales. De esta manera se busca tener una mayor aproximacion al valor real de los predios en el mercado. Al obtener la relacion en terminos monetarios de calidad ambiental y el valor de los predios se puede plantear Herramientas para la toma de decisiones en la Sierra.
