La Descentralización Territorial: Responsabilidades De La Nación Y Los Entes Territoriales Frente Al Diseño Y Análisis De Las Políticas Públicas De Infancia
The territorial decentralization in Colombia, since the indigenous roots to nowadays, has responded to evolutionary processes going from a radical centralization in presence of federal states. Today, the country is organized as a unitary but decentralized republic, which has allowed the issues management from local perspectives; however, budgetary difficulties have arisen due to the establishment of national programs with regional implementation that result from economic dependence for execution, coupled with the limited allocation of resources, especially for policies aimed at protecting children, and lack of coordination between the development agencies of programs designed for this purpose.
