Meningiomas are the second primary brain tumors. For these, total resection remains the treatment of choice, but for those lesions in which there is partial resection or is not possible by its location, or patient’s desire, there are other options such as stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) or fractionated stereotactic radiotherapy (SRT). This is a report of Hospital Universitario San Ignacio and Centro Javeriano de Oncologia in 29 patients treated in these institutions with SRS or SRT, both in primary and residual meningiomas, in the period between 2009 and 2012. We report the results after three, six and twelve months monitoring, with good local control.
