In our societies, it is possible to conceive of women and men as legal equals despite their diff erences considering that gender diff erences do not imply legal inequality. Th e sexual difference has meant legal inequality to the detriment of women. It is proven that the hierarchy in society and is made for men. Moreover, in most of the known culture, women are considered in any way inferior to men. Female subordination, involving the areas of sexuality, aff ectivity, economics and politics in all societies, regardless of their degree of complexity, shows a very deep phenomenon, and historically rooted, something that cannot be eradicated with simple rearrangement of some roles in sexual or social or even to completely reorganize the economic and political structures, given that institutions like the family, the State, education, religions and science have served to maintain and reproduce the inferior status of women.
