This paper is a hermeneutical exercise that portraits a dialogue between philosophy and theology based on the category of spirituality. For that reason, it assumes the role of the poet, which is a crucial figure in Heidegger’s later philosophy, and identifies it with the priest, a crucial figure in theology. Proceeding in this way, it is concluded that the poet and the priest are the prophets of the sacred, who contribute to the humanization of land, overcoming any reifying attempt by the technique. kEyWORDS Philosophy, Theology, Poet, Priest, Heidegger. RESUmO O presente artigo e um exercicio hermeneutico que poe em dialogo a filosofia e a teologia, a partir da categoria de espiritualidade. Para tal fim, assume o papel do poeta, figura crucial na filosofia do ultimo Heidegger, e o identifica com o sacerdote, figura importante na teologia. Procedendo deste modo, se conclui logo como o poeta e o sacerdote sao os profetas do sagrado que contribuem para uma humanizacao da Terra, superando qualquer tentativa coisificadora por parte da tecnica.
