This paper presents an up to date review of the antiparasitic drugs used for the treatment of the human intestinal parasitic infections, mainly those in Colombia. At the initial part of the paper a list of the parasitic infections is presented, mentioning the drugs used for those infections. Then every drug is considered from the point of view of the main chemical characteristics, absorption, elimination from the human body, secondary effects and toxicity, precautions for their use, therapeutically recommendations and dosages. A large reference list is presented that permits to have ample information on the subject.
