Caracterizar la violencia intrafamiliar, infantil y sexual en Bogota D.C. durante el ano 2011 es el objetivo de la presente investigacion, a partir de la informacion recolectada por el sistema de vigilancia epidemiologica de la violencia intrafamiliar, maltrato infantil y violencia sexual –SIVIM- en Bogota D.C. a traves de la ficha de notificacion dispuesta para tal objetivo y solo se tuvieron en cuenta los casos con inicio de seguimiento. La investigacion es un estudio descriptivo observacional de corte transversal. Se logro evidenciar que el maltrato infantil es el tipo de maltrato con mayor representatividad en el Distrito Capital y le sigue la violencia hacia la pareja. En el maltrato infantil la negligencia y el abuso sexual son las expresiones de la violencia con mayor porcentaje y para la violencia contra la pareja es la violencia fisica la que mas se presenta. Para la violencia emocional, economica y negligencia son los padres quienes mas frecuentemente infligen violencia. Para la violencia fisica quien mas agrede es la pareja; en la violencia sexual son los conocidos y desconocidos; en el abandono es el padre. Y para todos los tipos de violencia es el hogar el lugar donde mas se presenta. Abstract haracterize domestic violence, child and sexual in Bogota D.C. in 2011 is the objective of this research, from the information collected by the surveillance system of domestic violence, child abuse and sexual violence in Bogota DC-SIVIM through the notification form provided for this purpose and only took into account the start-up cases. Research design is descriptive study to as observational and crosssectional study. It was achieved demonstrate that child abuse is the type of abuse in a more representative and is followed by intimate partner violence. In child abuse neglect and sexual abuse are the expressions of violence and the highest percentage for intimate partner violence is physical violence occurs the most. For emotional violence, economic and neglect are most often the parents who inflict violence. For more physical aggresses who is a partner, in sexual violence are both known and unknown, for abandonment is the father. And to all types of violence is the home where more is presented.
