Organizations dedicated to software development usually organize their businesses in projects which are managed by different people, which creates redundancy in the support services of different projects. As an alternative solution to the redundancy, we descr ibe a software architecture based on Web services-oriented solutions to the requirements of the requested software support services. Solutions to requirements are stored in distributed repositories for projects which must be recovered through search engines implemented with web services which improve interoperability and redundancy. The work described has as main products the design of a knowledge base to support service information technology services and software architecture to support system support services.
