La presente investigacion analiza las representaciones de la negritud en los actos escolares del 25 de mayo, historizando la presencia del negro en esta efemeride y analizando de que manera las representaciones (que construye la escuela sobre la poblacion negra) sostienen la invisibilizacion o visibilizacion de la comunidad afro a la construccion de la historia Argentina. El trabajo se desarrolla en tres capitulos; en el primero hacemos una contextualizacion general sobre la historia de los negros en la Argentina partir de todo lo observado en los actos escolares del presente, con el animo de historizar los roles, actividades y lugares asumidos por los negros en la representacion escolar. En el segundo capitulo trabajamos sobre la historia de la celebracion de los actos escolares del 25 de mayo y rastreamos la presencia del negro en esta efemeride escolar. Por ultimo, en el tercer capitulo, nos centramos en la escuela como institucion; particularmente la celebracion de la efemeride del 25 de mayo en el presente. Esta observacion se realizo en el ano 2008 en tres instituciones educativas de la Provincia de Buenos Aires. This research analyzes the representations of blackness in the school ceremonies of May 25th, historicize the black presence in this event and analyze how the performances (which the school builds on the black population) maintain the invisibility or visibility of black community to the construction of Argentina's history. The work unfolds in three chapters, in general we first contextualize the history of blacks in Argentina from all school events observed in the present, with the aim to historicize the roles, activities and points made by blacks in the school play. The second chapter works on the history of the celebration of the school events of May 25th and tracks the presence of the black in this event. Finally, the third chapter, focuses on schools as institutions, particularly the celebration of the anniversary of May 25th in the present. This observation was made in 2008 in three educational institutions of the Province of Buenos Aires.
