The experiences that are lived daily in the classroom have been thinking about mathematics teaching more advisable to perform successfully the educational act, neglect cases in the explanations, the apathy of students against the study of mathematics, inconsistency in the development of procedures and difficulties in communication processes, are just some aspects of mathematics education suggest the need to target reorganizations and restructurings. Is the specific case of the research to a group of women at risk of prostitution attached to the program of rehabilitation of the religious community Adoration of the city of Pereira, as for the characterization of the mathematical practices that this group of activities performed by women cutting workshops, preparation, development and production of garments, develop their own innate abilities of each of the participants or the influence of social environmen.
