Incidencia de la aplicación de técnicas creativas en el desarrollo de las habilidades creativas de los asistentes comerciales de una empresa de servicios públicos
This Paper shows the results of a research that was carried out by a public utility company, where it was made an evaluation to some of the people who are in the front of the public attention, to know if the application of creative techniques contributes to the development of creative skills. The techniques that were applied were Brainstorming, six thinking hats, SCAMPER and Creative Problem Solving – CPS. The creative Skills evaluated were fluency, originality, elaboration and flexibility. The interventions were made at CHEC (Central Hidroelectrica de Caldas S.A. E.S.P) during the last three months of year 2016, each technique was applied for 8 hours, adding up 32 hours of intervention. The research was quasi-experimental with a control group without an intervention, and an experimental group in which were applied creative techniques. The sample was conformed of 37 participants (18 in the control group and 19 in the experimental group), and was selected by sampling for convenience. Before and after the intervention the Torrance ATTA (Abbreviated Torrance Test for Adults) test was applied to all participants to compare results. The results of the research were analyzed using Mann Whitney's U median difference test, which showed that the application of creative techniques achieved significant development in the fluency, elaboration and flexibility skills in the experimental group, compared with the control group. This demonstrates the importance of the application of creative techniques in the development of creative skills.
