These lines suggest interrogating the problem of interaction between subjects and objects of knowledge in the social sciences teaching area. They draw from the theoretical universe of the social representations -a universe that makes possible to see the emergence of an intellectual teacher who, in the attempt to acknowledge him/herself, might become a producer of knowledge. In this sense, they are intended to provoke both pre-and in-service teachers so they see social representations as something crucial to their doing for it determines others and themselves’ actions.
