Introduccion: se realizo un estudio con el proposito de crear un soporte de chasis para Incubadoras Isolette infant incubator air-shields. Metodo: estudio en desarrollo tecnologico por fases: exploratoria, donde se identifico el material considerando las variables peso, resistencia, reaccion a los rayos X. Experimental, se evaluaron las variables adaptabilidad en la incubadora Isolette infant incubator air-shields, resistencia al peso del bebe y reaccion a los rayos X. Resultados: el material adecuado para el soporte es el acrilico plexiglas porque cumple con las propiedades de resistencia, peso y reaccion a los rayos X. Conclusion: el soporte puede ser de gran utilidad para las unidades de neonatologia en Colombia que utilizan este tipo de incubadoras. El material permite tomar las radiografias al bebe sin sacarlo de la incubadora, evitandole molestias y los riesgos que corre al contacto con el medio ambiente.AbstractIntroduction: a study with the intention of creating a support chassis Isolette infant incubators incubator air-shields.
