This paper presents the results of the exploratory research State of the art of the formation-in-entrepreneurship processes in the context of Higher Education , which was realized during an Introductory Research Program. The work was developed in two phases, the first of whom (heuristic) allowed us to find more than 2000 articles on the topic, published in the Web of Sciences and Scopus databases, when using the searching keywords ‘entrepreneurship education’ (470), ´entrepreneurship learning’ (1216) and ‘entrepreneurship training’ (743). The second phase (hermeneutical), allowed us to show that the efforts made by these universities regarding the formation in entrepreneurship-related skills lead to positive changes in the way in which their alumni face their professional life, enhance their opportunities of successfully creating enterprises and improve the development options for the community.
