This work of investigation contains the presentation of the results in matter of the phenomena of new urban violences. The investigation was carried out in Pereira city (Capital of Risaralda), focused in the new criminal organization, represented by “ Organizacion la Cordillera” in the drug trafficking business, drug retailing and of course the daily violence in the suburbs. Specifically, this study is intended to investigate the monopolized neo-violence for this organization in relation to the management and control of the drug trade in this city, his capacity of creating new intervention armed groups and watching in the suburbs too. The investigation is referred through the acceptation of the global consumption in the society and the accommodate underground forms of markets that are excluded from the formal economy, as drug trafficking. The investigation of the descriptive part of a hypothetical scenario where it is shown transversely: new forms of violence despite maintaining economic patterns, political and cultural, not political characteristics of the confrontation of the internal armed conflict, but, to phenomena of territorial drug market in the local and the imposition of global consumption patterns of a society fragmented, especially in populations excluded and targeted youth in Latin American cities. The study raises the connotation of the power of the criminal organization, represented in neo-economic violence, product consumption patterns and globalized violence mainly linked to the rearrangement of the local drug trade.
