The Duty to Inform in the Different Stages of the Consumer Relationship (La Obligación De Información En Las Diferentes Fases De La Relación De Consumo) (Spanish)
The present article, as a first result of the research project called: “The information duty of the producer or distributor in consumer relationships” for the Commercial Law Department of the Universidad Externado de Colombia, seeks to make a general presentation of the professional duty of giving consumers a truthful and sufficient information about the goods and services offered in the market. In order to do this we will analyze the notion of the duty of information by studying the current regulation in our country and developing the content of this obligation in the pre-contractual and contractual stages of the consumer relationship.
